AVO Synchro Nicaragua Fogata Robusto raises the bar on what is possible with Nicaraguan tobacco. Known for their potent and sometimes unrefined character, longleaf from the highest parts of the plant are nonetheless packed with flavor and tobacco guru Henke Kelner uses this fact to his advantage while also playing to his own strengths in creating refined smokes. By blending finely aged ligero from Esteli and seco from Condega with a variety of Dominican tobaccos finished with a Mexican San Andres binder and Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper, Kelner has tamed the beast ever so slightly into a masterful creation.
